Editing on your phone: the three adjustments that matter

Editing should make the photo look like the real product. Not better.

Product photo editing is not about making things look better than they are. It's about correcting the small ways cameras fail to capture what your eyes see: a slight color shift from artificial light, a touch of underexposure indoors, a hint of softness from a phone shooting close.

The edit that makes a photo look more beautiful than the real product creates returns and erodes trust. The edit that makes the photo accurately represent the product reduces returns and builds confidence.
